Located at Kings Lock Boatyard in the historic canal town of Middlewich, Middlewich Narrowboat Services is your go to destination for expert boat services, maintenance, and moorings on the Trent and Mersey Canal. With decades of combined experience and a reputation for quality, care, and reliability, we’re proud to support the inland waterways community.
In March 2026 Kings Lock Boatyard, merged with PIW Narrowboat Services to create a new name in boat maintenance and care, Middlewich Narrowboat Services. Since 2014, Kings Lock Boatyard has proudly operated as part of the Middlewich Canal Centre family, providing a comprehensive range of services and expertise to the boating community and Middlewich Narrowboat Services will continue this proud tradition.
As a key part of our network, we work closely with our sister companies – Elton Moss Boatbuilders, renowned for crafting bespoke narrowboats; Carefree Cruising, offering flexible shared ownership solutions; and Boatfinder Brokerage, specialising in connecting buyers and sellers of canal boats.
